THERAPY MODALITIES
EYE-MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION AND REPROCESSING (EMDR) THERAPY
As a certified EMDR therapist, Liz often uses EMDR to help her clients grow and heal. EMDR is a trauma-informed approach to help people heal from the past and become their best selves in the present. While it was developed to treat trauma, EMDR can also help with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and attachment or relationship problems.
ACCEPTANCE AND COMMITMENT THERAPY (ACT)
ACT teaches people to improve in their ability to cope with difficult emotions or situations and think and behave in helpful and flexible ways. It also has a focus on values-based living and helps people live in ways that feel good and are in line with long-term goals in life.

INTERNAL FAMILY SYSTEMS (IFS)
IFS has a focus on the parts of ourselves and the ways in which those parts interact and cause us to behave. Sometimes those parts are helpful, but sometimes they make us do things that we wish we wouldn't. IFS helps to heal those parts of ourselves that need healing so we can function better in our lives.
